Visiting a farm or a corn maze is perhaps the quintessential fall family activity, and there are so many to explore near Yorkton. When planning your upcoming local staycation, be sure to check out some of these spots during your visit.
The Strawberry Ranch always keeps visitors on their toes by featuring a brand-new maze design every year. Along with an exciting winding course, the farm also has fun trivia games, BBQ pits, and picnic areas—perfect for kicking back and enjoying lunch or a snack with the family after you’ve trekked through the cornfield.
Spanning a sprawling 15 acres and with over 10 different attractions, the Happy Hollow Corn Maze has something for everyone. There are classic farm favourites like wagon rides, the jumping pillow, and hay bale slides, as well as unique games like the corn cannon and the chalkboard house, where kids will be inspired to unleash their inner artist.
If you’re looking for a challenge, this one’s for you. Situated at the northern end of Good Spirit Lake, Corn Trails is a non-traditional corn maze that winds through about 50 acres of cornfield and is more of a puzzle than a maze. The farm also has mini-golf and fire pits, making it a great choice for older kids.
